1. About Momentum
Momentum is an online service provided by Rostrum Studio.
Momentum helps conference organisers plan participant promotion, prepare campaign content, create personal participant links and review activity connected with those links.
You can contact us at:
- General enquiries: [email protected]
- Support: [email protected]
- Privacy enquiries: [email protected]
2. Using the service
You may use Momentum only for lawful business purposes.
You must provide accurate account information and keep your login details secure.
You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless you have told us that the account may have been accessed without permission.
3. Your content and participant data
You keep ownership of the information and content you upload to Momentum.
You give us permission to store and process that information only so we can provide, maintain and support the service.
If you upload participant or customer information, you confirm that you have a lawful reason to use that information and to ask Momentum to process it for you.
You are responsible for the campaign content, participant lists and links you create or distribute through the service.
4. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use Momentum to break the law
- upload harmful code or malicious files
- try to access another organisation’s account or data
- interfere with the service or test its security without permission
- use the service to send unlawful, misleading or abusive messages
- copy, resell or provide access to Momentum without our permission
- use the service in a way that harms Rostrum Studio, our suppliers or other users
5. Email and communications
Momentum may prepare email copy and participant distribution files for you to use in your own email or CRM system.
Unless the service clearly says otherwise, you are responsible for sending those communications and for making sure they follow the law and your organisation’s own privacy rules.
Momentum may send service emails connected with your account, security, invitations, billing or use of the platform.
6. Third-party services
Momentum uses other companies to provide parts of the service, including hosting, authentication, databases, email delivery, payments, automation and analytics.
Those services may sometimes be unavailable or changed by their providers.
We are not responsible for failures caused entirely by a third-party service outside our reasonable control, but we will take reasonable steps to restore or support the Momentum service.
7. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Momentum available and working well.
Maintenance, updates and unexpected interruptions may sometimes affect access.
We may change the service to improve it, fix problems, meet legal requirements or protect users and data.
We will give reasonable notice where a significant change materially reduces a paid service.
8. Fees and payment
Where a paid plan applies, the price, billing period and included use will be shown before purchase or agreed with you separately.
Payments may be processed by Stripe.
You are responsible for any taxes that apply to your purchase, except taxes on our own income.
If a payment remains overdue, we may restrict or suspend access after giving reasonable notice.
9. Closing or suspending accounts
You may ask us to close your account or use an account deletion option where one is available.
We may suspend or close an account if:
- you seriously or repeatedly break these terms
- payment remains overdue
- the account creates a security or legal risk
- we are required to do so by law
Where practical, we will explain the reason and give you a chance to fix the problem before closing the account.
10. Our responsibility
We will provide Momentum with reasonable care.
We do not promise that:
- the service will always be available without interruption
- every campaign will produce registrations or revenue
- activity data will prove that a person completed an action outside Momentum
- information entered by users will be accurate
We are not responsible for losses caused by:
- incorrect information entered or uploaded by a user
- campaign decisions made by the organiser
- unlawful participant lists or communications supplied by a customer
- services outside our reasonable control
- indirect business losses where the law allows us to exclude them
Nothing in these terms removes responsibility that cannot legally be excluded, including responsibility for fraud, fraudulent statements, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
11. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we use personal information.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms.
If a change materially affects existing users, we will provide reasonable notice through the service or by email.
The date at the top of this page shows when the terms were last updated.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
The courts of England and Wales will handle disputes, unless consumer law in another country gives a user the right to use their local courts.
